Daikoku Futo is a special place, I'm not talking about the tons of cool cars that show up there but rather the back drop you get to shoot under. The arching on-ramps and off ramps seem like giant concrete rivers that glow orange under the street lights. The sound of uncorked exhaust ripping around the loop and eurobeat from the sound wagons, the smell of unburnt fuel when the Kyusha cars roll in mixed with the salty ocean breeze and shoyu ramen from the restaurant. Serious sensory overload.
So when the chance comes that amazing cars like the two below come rolling in it is an automotive photographers dream. I had a feeling that the Moccomans S14 was going to be there that night but i had no idea that the Moccomans RX7 would be there as well! I am usually not a big fan of GT Styling but this car is straight up BAD ASS. Equipped with what looks like a Mazdaspeed front bumper and RE Amemiya aero topping it off was a set of RE30s
I have posted the Moccomans S14 HERE so feel free to check out more detailed pics of that car here
