Top One

Went to Top One today to get  the alignment done. Had to leave the car there over night... the owner Ito-san is cool as shit... he`s more into grip rather than drift but most of his customers are drift drivers. He said it`s getting harder to organize grip events because most people now days are more into drift. Here are some pics of the shop
There was a S15 and a 180sx getting worked on. the 180sx was getting pretty much all the arms redone and coilovers put in. The Mark II infront i think is owned by a mixed Brazilian Japanese girl... (yes, she was pretty damn hot)... you can kinda see her reflection in the glass lol. The car had a couple of F.L.A.G. stickers on the back which is the drifting crew from Kangawa,Tokyo and Chiba
One more of the front
I seen this sticker before but i didn`t have my camera at the time... i added the subtitles for those that don`t understand Japanese.

a little more

lowered the car about an inch and a half... it can still go more but i need to tuck the harness up. i think the rear upper control arms are different lengths . the driver`s side rear tire pokes further out at the top than the passengers side and looks to have less camber. I am going to take the car to get an alignment probably next week so i`ll just have the shop look at it.

test fronts

put the fronts on with the 15mm spacer that came with the car. fitment is on point. now all i need to do is lower it about an inch or so

long weekend

So it is a long 3 day weekend here in Japan... tomorrow going get the front tires mounted and maybe get them on the car in the afternoon. My KTS spacers have arrived just in time. I got a better look at the car in the day light today. I am almost certain i have a GP sports G-sonic front and rear bumper. Also the coilovers are a company called BC sports

One unpleasant surprise was it felt like one of my ATR sport tires was lighter than the other so i grabbed my bathroom scale and sure enough one is almost 1kg lighter! WTF! looking at them i can tell that they are definitely from a different batch the color of the two tires are different despite both being brand new. also the marking  stripes that run down the tire are  different colors. but i guess for 20,000y i can`t complain, they supposedly have good wet and dry grip.

tomorrow should be fun.

New Start

After a few weeks of waiting the car has finally arrived. Registered, shaken`ed and insured...Took her for a spin and it has good power and  the ride  is not harsh at all.... clutch is a little stuff (first gear was a bit jerky since i haven`t driven a stick in over a year.) But it feels really good to be behind the wheel again. Right now it has some Enkei Tarmacs which are supposed to be really light and the front brake calipers have been swapped for skyilne units along with some unknown coilovers... still not sure what kit is on the front and rear. Other nice stuff is aftermarket HIDs, and LED tail lights... Power wise the car has a Blitz intercooler  and Blitz exhaust. I have my Model5s waiting to get tires mounted which i will do this weekend. and i just ordered some KTS adjustable spacers for the rear...

I guess that's all for now.
